Adam E-H Wilson
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have worked as a political reporter in both Idaho and Washington. Later, I went to work for elected officials in Washington. I thought I had politics more or less figured out up to the 2016 presidential election. Donald Trump’s win convinced me that I had missed something, and I wanted to figure out what. I eventually read the Oxford History of the United States, and came to the conclusion that what we call national politics is really a centuries old conflict between the rival cultures of America, especially between the North and South. That’s where the Compass of Power podcast comes from.
During the pandemic, I felt like I had lost touch with friends, never had extended conversations. So, I launched Adam Wilson Talks to Everyone, a podcast in which I talk to family and friends about life. Plus, I have a YouTube channel and maybe a blog.
